Grow in Parker
The Parker School District is a statewide leader in the use of technology in the
classroom. All classrooms have an electronic "smartboard" that allows teachers to interface
their computer based lesson plans with students hands on learning. In addition, the Parker School District
furnishes a laptop computer to every high school student in the Parker School District. The computer is incorporated
into the entire classroom curriculum, so that students learn how to use technology to enhance their learning
experience. Student's attendence rate is over 98%. This statistic demonstrates that students enjoy attending our
schools and feel they are learning and growing. The average ACT score of students in the Parker High School is 22.8. This score
significantly exceeds the national average for all high school students who complete the ACT testing program.
Over 90% of Parker High School graduates attend post-secondary institutions, including universities, colleges,
technical schools, community colleges and military academies.
The Parker Learning Center is a year-round after school care program serving
school age children through sixth grade. The after school care program provides educational,
recreational and social activities for children in a safe and stimulating school environment.
